New Zealand: Visa fees will increase

New Zealand announces increase in visa fees from October 1, 2024.

Immigration New Zealand will increase several immigrant visa application fees from October 1, 2024, including but not limited to:

• Accredited work visa for employers from 750 NZD to 1,540 NZD (around 862 euros)
• Permanent resident visa increased from 240 NZD to 315 NZD
• Specific purpose work visa increased from NZD735 to NZD1,355

The list of further increases can be found here.

There will also be subsidized fees for visa applicants from Pacific countries. The New Zealand government says the new visa fees will be set at a reasonable level to cover the costs of visa processing and reflect the benefits that people using immigration services can receive.
