No longer required to provide proof of negative Corona tests
With the decline in high COVID-19 disease rates, travel relief is now coming internationally. As of June 12, 2022, travelers no longer need a negative COVID-19 test or proof of illness to enter the United States.
Full COVID-19 vaccination coverage is sufficient for entry into the United States.
Proof of existing vaccination with a U.S. approved vaccine must be provided to the airline prior to departure. Many airlines offer this service through apps or even dedicated websites. Recovery status is not a substitute for vaccination.
Mask requirement restricted
In the wake of the Corona loosening, there is currently no longer a requirement to wear a mouth-to-nose mask in public places or on public transportation in most U.S. states. Even while flying within the U.S., many airlines are waiving the mask requirement. However, the requirement to wear a face mask has not yet been waived in some cases for international flights to or from the United States. The current guidelines of the respective airline must be observed here.
